Illustration Friday - Speed

As I huff and puff along the punishing slope
Along comes the elderly Ah Pek
Striding along like a walk in the park
Nary a drop of perspiration
Leaving me to bite the dust

... and I thought I was speeding.

HE ! HE!! Gooood one!! That was how we felt like, when we went drawing at the zoo with our professor in college. He was in his 70, and we, young kids couldn't catch up with him. LOL

Your characterization is always so wonderful, and I always enjoy how you put yourself into the scene! This one's very amusing...I like seeing you stuggling below the crest of the hill while he is easily running along. Fun interpretation of the topic:>

I understand your illustration. Even though I recently completed my first marathon and ultra-marathon, the best runners are the old guys (45 years old +). I just hope I'm in that good a shape when I'm that old.
